It is necessary when buying and using your rugs to bear the following in mind.

• Fit is all important
• Rugs are usually sized in 3 inch increments
• The measurement is taken from the middle of the horses chest to the middle of the rear of the quarters. This measurement is the size you would need to order for your horse.
  
  Please Note: Saxon rugs do tend to come up on the small size, so always be generous with your measurements for a Saxon rug.
